Central Coast Airshow 23/5/21
It took about 7 years, but I finally got back to an airshow to shoot some aircraft in action. On this occasion, I was on home soil and in an area pretty familiar to me. Warnervale Airport on the NSW Central Coast. I had driven past this airport on numerous occasions when visiting my grandparents at Toukley. This time the 1000D was gone, replaced by the Canon 700D and I had a maximum zoom of 250mm. As it was only my 2nd attempt at photographing aircraft, I managed to get a few good shots, but as the photos show, there was certainly still plenty of learning to be done. The highlight of this airshow was my first look at the P51D Mustang in action (well a CAC CA-18 actually, as it was an all Australian built version of the Mustang) Check them out!
